As of writing, my Houdini version is 20.5.614





"Field cutoff" value for "gas resize fluid dynamic" node


The field cutoff value determines when the smoke or pyro sim will be deleted, so to have smoke or pyro linger for a longer amount of time you turn this value way down, but NEVER turn to 0, there always needs to be a level of dissipation.
