SAMMY LYU

I'm a film editor, entry-level programmer and VFX enthusiast. I started in film postproduction four years ago with Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve. More recently, I picked up Python (among the first of many), working towards becoming a technical artist and developer, to better understand the software that I use. I also took some time to learn Houdini and Unreal Engine, to better understand 3D work and incorporate them into my projects.

I enjoy wokring behind the scenes and witnessing different elements, live action or 3D, come together to create the tiny universes we see on-screen.

Outside of work, I speak three languages, play a lot of golf and religiously train for Spartan and HYROX races to keep myself fit.
